Therapeutic Journeys to Self-Realisation – blog 27

Post –Enlightenment continued

Previously, I have discussed the use of

Ω. Omega signifies enlightenment, spiritual progress.

Its most prevalent definition is tied to spirituality, bridging the human experience with the divine.

CEP is Conscious Enlightenment Practice

Finishing the Journey

What is your mantra?

Or your Ω?

Repeat it and the guidance will come whether you have the external guru/guide or not.

If you only live life, you remain in life.

If you seek and desire the Therapeutic Journey and/or Self-Realisation, or a CEP, you move into a world which is more than just human.

Life and the soul’s growth are not incompatible.

The external and internal resources required for the Journey are already here.

You make the change by walking the path. (With your Inner Guide ideally).

The scenery changes as you move along. So gradual as to be imperceptible at times.

Patience is the first Strength and also a value.

Continued striving is second.

Desire for Inner Enlightenment experience third.

It will drive your CEP.

Faith it will all happen is the summary.

Deal with the obstacles. Go around them, under them, over them, through them. Human personalities and habits are not barriers. They can be changed diverted and minimised.

Any human condition is not a big deal.

You can still do what you need to do with your supra-human abilities.

Use the teachers like medicine.

Use the practice pathways like transport.

Use the secret words as protection.

A Mantra is food for the journey towards enlightenment.

Use all helpful people as your mechanics.

Stop those negative thoughts. They go nowhere. They have no function except to generate fear reactivity and anxiety. Why are they there? Good question.

Remember

It just is and you know it you know it. Your managed thought processes connect positively to an advanced human experience. You may want this. After all that is why we are here – mostly. On the other hand, desire is there to partake of in human form, possibly decreed so by cosmic forces. It is all very mysterious at times. Any particular religion always want to give you their specific view and solutions. Which may help to drive you bonkers!

The Buddha says life is suffering. If you get that, and feel it strongly, you can probably be diagnosed as clinically depressed. Take some medication or get the treatment. You will be fine. Back to work and society and all that you do. Otherwise, you end up as a derelict alcoholic, or something similar or worse. However, the gods say you are Divine. I am Divine. All is Divine. Do you want to accept this? What will it mean? It does not mean anything other than being as you already are. Just Enlightened. Simple –except for the terminology and this god thing. Make your own terms. Have a Therapeutic Journey. Get the same results if you are atheist.

However, this all probably seems confusing in reality. Therefore, one needs a guide who is a good teacher, unless you are already there. That means an external living one, if at all possible. Yes, it will be a human with potentially more foibles and you have. It is the teaching and guidance that’s wanted.

We attract the darkness, the fear, and anxiety, through our own thought processes. Is it all our fault? (A pointless perspective). However all is not lost. The means to self-correct or self-manage is present along with the problem. We have resilience, somewhere. We have personal strengths. We have functional abilities to cope and manage, usually.

It is a human phenomenon that some will undergo horrendous trials and experiences and come safely out the other end. The same can happen with our depression, addictions, obsessions, and other disturbances of the mind. Firstly, all experiences seem to occur for a purpose, and that is a learning one. Hopefully a spiritual one, or part of our Journey.

The key is to understand that we can challenge and change our thought processes, for a start. We believe we will suffer terribly if we lose our job, marriage, memory, health, etc. The thoughts accompanying the beliefs create fear piled upon fear. The darkness creates more darkness. The core thoughts that disrupt or energize, are all about an intrinsic energy.

What are we are really made of? The scientists who say we are nothing more than a dense bundle of oscillating atoms. Say I am only a body/mind and all is lost. Say I am a spirit/soul and all may be saved.

Choose the Light.
