Appendix part 2
Mission Impossible?
If we are truly Consciousness always, why are we not awake from birth? Also, the evolutionists say we are descended from monkeys anyway, so what hope do we have? We can of course take an alternative option and sign up for a God/Creator who is “really in charge”, and thus get salvation, especially if we then engage some religious activities. Plenty of books on that subject! (You have to Tithe!).
However, it is still possible to also accept the Cosmic Consciousness perspective, by seeing the human aspect as actually sparks of the Cosmic fire. If you wish you can chose both a Him God, and an impersonal Cosmic Awareness. (Or any other choice/combination – including a Her Goddess). It’s about hedging one’s bets! It’s legal in countries which have freedom of choice of belief. (Some don’t)! You can also be multi-Faith.
We may be descended from monkeys but remember this is still in the ambit of delusional type awareness. The monkey-man and the enlightened–man are still in the same ego-bound situation, just different varieties of intelligence, or spiritual purity. A choice is made to experience this state as a formless position as in being centered in Consciousness.
No matter how intellectually spiritually astute one becomes, if you remain in a certain headspace of basically ego-focused need, you ultimately go nowhere. The alternative dimension cannot be made or experienced by the brain’s neuro-chemical processes. (Even if science takes us to longevity, even to immortality and cures all mental deficiencies).
We need to give up on our ego struggle and let our something else come to the party. We enter, or rather simply exist in, a place powered by something other than who we thought we were. The deeper we go, the more it becomes an easier path, with less frustration about what’s going on in so-called real life.
The impossible is the nothing. Everything is on the table. Then the reaction is per moment-to-moment life practice. This practice is real in this life in some sense, as I am the witness of it like as in a dream. Though, I am truly real as a whole being. Experience all within and without, as ….. (Your preferred words), when connected to your Consciousness. Oneness is like being just one drop of water, which is not different from all the water in a lake. Eventually that drop of human based consciousness merges into the Universe Consciousness.
An Exercise to bypass it all. The short–cut!
Not about the Wheel of Change, or the Wheel of No-Change. In short it’s the:
Wheel of Suffering!

We will draw a circle, and on the outside we will put some words to describe briefly some variety of life experiences that we have. I have chosen a few words, but you can choose your own words and based on what you assess as the main components of your life experience.
At the Centre of this wheel be will have another small wheel and inside is written.
Witness.
(As in – “I am the witness of all experience”)
This is the final wheel, and the final exercise, because it’s where we sit. We understand that the world goes on around us, but we are at our core a rock-steady presence in the unity of the True Self.
There is an individual self, or soul There’s also a oneness with the Cosmic Self because the underlying “substance” that we are is also Consciousness.
This is where we stand and accept life with equanimity, poise, calmness and serenity.
There is no change, because there is no chance of change at this Centre in regard to the essence of consciousness, which is peaceful and blissful.
However, around us is this business of the circus – which is the comings and goings of Life and the Universe.
You can describe it anyway you like, but the essence of it is ignorance of True Self – due to the ego’s dictatorships. We are “a loser” in this struggle although the ego will say we are the winners. It’s an inability to achieve stability of our innate right to dominance, as the human mind/body is allowed to be in charge. It is important to recognize this. If you don’t recognize it as such you don’t begin the Wayfarers Journey. You don’t escape the egos clutches, and you are doomed to subservience. In the Wheel of Suffering, you will not go then to the Centre. (You will be in the center– of suffering).
This wheel of suffering also incorporates the wheel of the “opposite of suffering”, which is the very nature of establishment at the Centre.
What will you do to make it so, at any time or under any circumstance? This will take Practice to do, and we will not be picking or choosing our preferred lifestyle to make it so. “I’ll have this bit of life. I won’t have that bit”. We will be distinctly in our own Special Place, no matter what place we are in on earth. However, it will require relinquishing ego-based dominance.
It may not be your cup of tea to use eastern philosophies and spiritual practices. You can do this, just as well, with whatever your religion and spiritual practice is providing. (If you have such). You can still have a firm center where you stay in your sanity, without any belief system.
Also, I’m not saying my messages are better, more helpful or more superior to any other method, or any other journey that you want to undertake.
In our last wheel there is written: Happy, Sad, Hurting, Bored, Tired. We are still in the Centre.
Driving this Wheel are the three qualities of nature to be aware of here. As introduced previously.
If you are into healthy activities, healthy diet, and engaging in spiritual practice, our nature has some “purity”.
If we are in engaged in the world of pleasure seeking or engaging in life for material benefit mainly we are self-seeking.
If we are living in darkness, and addictions, we are living in the dark nature.
Life and the Universe is in its illusory and transient presentation to our life experience.
Then we are: The Witness to the Qualities of Nature. We are then unaffected as we transcend all qualities of nature.
One option to calm the mind is to use something repetitive to help focus the mind. Some phrase, chant, re-assurance etc. It is a bit mechanical, but then so are a lot of medications. It’s about applying something to fix a problem. (Continued in part 3).
